MIRACLES WITHOUT MEANING

An old teacher told his disciples to travel the world with the request to bring him news about the
more wonderful event that they had referred during this trip. After many months one of them came back and began to narrate the following:

"Master, the most incredible and wonderful event that I referred to in these long months came one day when I was about to take a ferry crossing a large river. At the time of sailing, arrived a poor old man who asked the boatman to take him out of charity to the bank because he had no money. The owner of the boat angrily denied and cast off so quickly that the boat got into the flow. But at that moment, and to the surprise of everyone, the old man closed his eyes, went into a state of rapture and began to walk on water until he waded the river! Is not it amazing? Is not that a miracle?

- How much was the passage of the boat? Asked the teacher.

"Only two currencies," said the disciple.

"Well, these two currencies is the full value of the miracle that you seen.
